    Is the Quaverato dependent upon a case ground? I want to paint the case but would like to know if I need to ground it to the board.

    Yes it does need a case ground, but the circuit is grounded to the inside of the chassis…so it would be fine to paint the outside of the chassis.
    I’d love to see it when it’s painted…if you feel like posting picture.
