Hey guys, just knocked together my first Altura, it’s working great, I used the paper template but I used cardboard that was a little too heavy. I think my next one I’m going to make a wooden box.
A couple of minor notes. First, in building this enclosure from cardboard, be ready with a heavier glue than rubber cement. Also, I burned the holes in the bottom of the box with my soldering iron because I was getting impatient with all the exacto knive work. It did it evenly and quickly. Also, as you can see in my pic here, clear packing tape can be your friend in conditions like these here. It’s almost like applying lamination. 🙂
Well it sounds glorious and splendid and all that. This thing is awesome!
